Leviathant Drums v1: x0x;110 Installation: The .SYX file contains a Tempest Beat. The beat includes 32 sounds, and a demo pattern that hits most of the sounds. For details on how to transfer Sysex files, please see your Tempest manual. I open the file in MIDI-OX, which loads it into the "SysEx View and Scratchpad" window. I make sure I have my Tempest on and set as an Output port in Options>MIDI Devices, and then I click Command Window > Send Sysex. The screen on the Tempest should display a message about having received the beat. From there, you should be able to modify & save the beat and any of the individal sounds attached to it. Included Sounds: A1 - 606 BD v2 [using a digital sine wave] A2 - 606 SD [triangle wave, noise, lpf] A3 - 606 SD v3 [digital sine, noise, lpf] A4 - 606 SD v2 [digital sine, triangle, noise] * A5 - An OH [loosely based on the DR-110 hihat osc frequencies] A6 - 606 Tom v1 (HT) [digital sine, soft noise, LPF] A7 - 606 Tom v2 (LT) [triangle, pink noise, LPF] * A8 - 606 BD v2 (duplicate of A1) A9 - 606 BD +Resistor [606 BD with the amp decay turned up] A10 - 110 Hand Clap [4 VCAs used to shape noise] A11 - 110 SD+BD [loosley based on DR-110 architecture] A12 - 606 BD [Focused on transient: PWM osc, 'Tight Boom' sample, LPF] * A13 - An CH [loosely based on the DR-110 hihat osc frequencies] A14 - 808 CB+ [Aux 1 envelope controls decay of analog oscs] A15 - DR110 CY Noise [use with A16 to emulate DR-110 ride cymbal] A16 - DR110 CY Osc [multiple oscs tuned to observed DR-110 frequencies] B3 - 110 SD B4 - Niner Snare [Based on schematics & sample analysis. I don't have a 909] B5 - Acrolite [based on spectral analysis of my Ludwig Acrolite snare] B10 - LFO Clap [Variation on DR-110 clap, uses sawtooth LFO for multi-trig] B11 - 110 BD [Surprisingly accurate emulation of a really lame drum] B12 - Niner BD [Based on schematics & sample analysis. I don't have a 909] B13 - Acoustifake [based on spectral analysis of my Tama Rockstar kick drum] Bonus Swarmatrony patches - use the pressure sensitive ribbons!
